Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and shortening.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time.
  3. Add milk and flour alternately.
  4. Add vanilla. Bake at 350° until test done. Use your favorite frosting.
