Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2/3 c. cooking oil
  • 2 c. powdered confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add yellow cake mix, lemon Jell-O and 3/4 cup water; mix well.
  2. Add eggs and cooking oil; mix well.
  3. Bake in a greased oblong pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
  4. While cake is baking, mix together powdered sugar and juice from lemons.
  5. Remove cake from oven and while still warm, make holes with fork over every inch of cake, going about half way down.
  6. Pour lemon and powdered sugar glaze over top and let stand.
  7. Spread any remaining glaze over top of cake.
