Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Stir sugar and cinnamon into biscuit mix.
  2. Add milk to make a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and give each to a different person.
  4. Roll each portion in floured hands to form a rope.
  5. Wrap each rope around a skewer in a spiral shape.
  6. Squeeze the ends of the dough together to seal.
  7. Hold the skewer about 6 inches from the coals to cook.
  8. Turn the skewer often until the dough is lightly browned and thoroughly cooked.
  9. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  10. Eat with fingers or place on a plate and brush with butter while hot.
  11. Sprinkle with sugar before serving.
