Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour (unbleached)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cut in 6 tablespoons butter, enough buttermilk to make moist dough.
  2. Handle as little as possible.
  3. Bake in 375° oven.
  4. Place on top oven shelf 15 minutes.
