Ingredients

  • 6 slices fish
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large sliced onion
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. leaf thyme

Instructions

  1. Use
  2. slices of trout, red snapper, bass or any other fish you like. Cut about 3/4-inch thick.
  3. Pat fish dry; sprinkle with salt and pepper and brown it in hot oil.
  4. Remove fish from pan.
  5. Saute onion, tomatoes, thyme and vinegar.
  6. Add about 1/4 cup water.
  7. Put back in sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
  8. Serve with rice or potatoes and fresh spinach.
