Carnell'S 8 Egg Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 sticks Blue Bonnet margarine
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time (beating after each one).
  3. Alternate with flour.
  4. Add salt and flavoring. Mix well.
  5. Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
  6. Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
