Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 3 pitted dates, chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) can apple juice concentrate
  • 2 Tbsp. carob powder
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Whiz
  2. all ingredients in blender, beginning with only a small amount of the water and adding the rest after dates are blended. Boil in saucepan for a few minutes.
  3. Serve hot.
