Cauliflower With Bread Crumbs

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower head
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Rinse cauliflower with cold water.
  2. Place whole cauliflower in pot and fill with enough water to cover the cauliflower.
  3. Add salt to water and cauliflower.
  4. Cook cauliflower until tender (approximately 20 minutes).
  5. Test tenderness by spearing with fork.
  6. Drain off liquid.
  7. Place cauliflower in bowl.
  8. In small saucepan, melt butter on medium heat.
  9. Add bread crumbs and saute until golden brown for a minute or two.
  10. Sprinkle bread crumbs over cauliflower.
