Celery Saute

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 14 cup finely chopped onion
  • 3 cups celery, cut in 1-inch slices
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 12 cup beef gravy

Instructions

  1. Place bacon in a skillet and saute until crisp.
  2. Remove and set aside.
  3. Saute onion in the bacon fat until golden brown.
  4. Add celery, tomato sauce, and gravy.
  5. Cover and simmer until celery is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Serve over the toast.
