Cheese And Onion Caps

Ingredients

  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
  • 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 18 large fresh mushroom caps or 36 medium caps

Instructions

  1. Mix the first 4 ingredients together until thoroughly blended. Season with 1 tablespoon cheese mixture.
  2. Press into caps.
  3. Place on greased broiler pan, about 4 inches from heat, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese melts.
  4. Do not overbroil.
