Cherry Cherry Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 c. pitted sour cherries (fresh or frozen)
  • 6 Tbsp. arrowroot powder
  • 6 Tbsp. juice from cherries
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 6 c. drained sour cherries
  • 3/4 c. honey to taste

Instructions

  1. Dissolve arrowroot powder in cherry juice and water.
  2. Cook until thickened, adding another cup of juice.
  3. Then add sour cherries, honey and almond extract.
  4. Let simmer 1 minute.
  5. Cool. Pour into baked Stir-N-Roll Pie Crust Shell.
  6. Place in refrigerator to chill.
  7. Serve with homemade ice cream or fresh grated coconut.
