Chesapeake Bay Clam Chowder

Ingredients

  • 3 diced onions
  • 4 large Idaho potatoes, diced
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury biscuits (8)
  • 3 to 4 doz. clams
  • 2 c. chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Boil clams in shell.
  2. Let cool.
  3. Extract and mince clams. Add chicken broth to clam broth, along with all ingredients, except biscuits; simmer 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Drop small pieces of biscuits into broth.
  5. Cook 15 more minutes.
  6. Let cool and serve. Serves 6 to 8 people.
