Chinese Fried Nuts

Ingredients

  • 6 c. water
  • 4 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • salad oil
  • salt

Instructions

  1. In large saucepan, over high heat, heat water to boiling.
  2. Add nuts and bring back to a boil.
  3. Boil 1 minute.
  4. Rinse nuts under hot water.
  5. Drain.
