Chive Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh carrot, peeled and cut into 2 ",long julienne strips ⓘ
- 2 cloves garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon butter ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh chives or 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (actually better with onions than chives) ⓘ
- salt & freshly ground black pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute carrots and garlic in olive oil and butter for 3 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender.
- Toss with chives, and serve immediately.
