- In bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, place one layer of crackers.
- Mix vanilla pudding with milk.
- Mix in Cool Whip.
- Spread half of mixture over crackers.
- Put another layer of crackers.
- Top with remaining pudding mixture.
- Add another layer of crackers; spread frosting over the top.
- Refrigerate 12 to 24 hours.
- You can use the chocolate Cool Whip instead of frosting if you desire.
