Chocolate Lime Bisque

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. crushed chocolate wafers
  • 1 large can evaporated milk, chilled
  • 1 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp. grated semi-sweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. Put 1 cup crumbs in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan; spread evenly. Mix the water, jello, sugar and lemon juice; let cool.
  2. Add grated chocolate.
  3. When beginning to set, whip evaporated milk.
  4. Add gelatin mixture; whip together until thick.
  5. Pour over crumbs in pan.
  6. Top with remaining crumbs.
  7. Refrigerate until set.
