Chocolate Nut Brittle

Ingredients

  • saltine crackers
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 large pkg. chocolate bits
  • 2 c. chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Butter the foil and line with saltine crackers.
  3. Boil sugar and butter.
  4. Pour over crackers.
  5. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
  6. Melt chocolate bits and pour over crust.
  7. Top with chopped walnuts.
  8. Chill until set, about 1 hour.
