Chop Chop
A hearty, customizable dish combining fresh vegetables and leftover meats, simmered to perfection and served over rice, ideal for a quick, satisfying meal with versatile flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 c. carrot wedges, chopped
- 1 c. celery wedges, chopped ⓘ
- 1 c. onions, cut lengthwise and chopped
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- Search refrigerator for any leftover meats or gravies.
- Slice chicken, skin and all, into small chunks. Add bouillon if needed.
- Add any leftover hamburger or other meats to the pot.
- Add chopped carrots, celery, and onions to the boiling mixture.
- Simmer all ingredients together until flavors meld and vegetables are tender.
- Serve the hot mixture over cooked rice.
