Classic Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf day-old Italian bread with sesame seed
  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. fresh parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Slice the bread and spread it with butter or margarine.
  3. The garlic should be chopped as finely as possible.
  4. Sprinkle it over the bread.
  5. Season lightly with the parsley.
