Coconut Balls (Mounds) are delightful sweet treats featuring creamy coconut coated in rich chocolate, perfect for satisfying cravings or sharing at parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 large package coconut
  • 1 package chocolate chips
  • 1/3 stick paraffin wax

Instructions

  1. Combine the Eagle Brand milk and coconut in a mixing bowl.
  2. Rub your hands with butter to prevent sticking.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips and paraffin wax in a double boiler until smooth.
  6. Use toothpicks to dip each ball into the melted chocolate coating.
  7. Place the coated balls on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
  8. Set in the refrigerator for a few minutes to set the chocolate coating.
