Coffee Grounds Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coffee grounds (from brewed coffee)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 large shallot, chopped
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Instructions

  1. Combine the coffee grounds, balsamic vinegar, garlic, shallots, some salt and pepper and 1/4 cup water in a bowl.
  2. Use as a marinade for steak.
  3. Marinate for 30 minutes to 4 hours, then cook the steak as desired.
