Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cold coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and milk; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Combine the cooled milk mixture, cold coffee, vanilla, and 1 cup of whipping cream; mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and freeze until slushy, about 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Beat the remaining whipping cream until stiff peaks form; do not overbeat.
  5. Just before serving, stir the slush mixture to recombine. Spoon into dessert dishes, filling two-thirds full.
  6. Top with whipped cream and serve.
