Corn And Potato Chowder(Microwave)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 5 c. peeled and cubed potatoes
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces.
  2. Combine bacon and onion in 3-quart casserole.
  3. Cook, covered, on full power for 10 to 13 minutes or until bacon is thoroughly cooked and onion is tender. Stir halfway through cooking time.
  4. Drain.
