Ingredients

  • several tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Put a few spoonfuls of cornstarch into a cup.
  2. Add water, a few drops at a time, until the mixture becomes paste-like and crumbly.
  3. Pick up the goop and squeeze it to feel how it is crumbly.
  4. Hold it loosely to let it ooze through your fingers.
  5. Observe how squeezing changes the substance from a liquid to a solid and back.
