Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 1 to 2 tsp. horseradish
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco
  • few drops lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. chives
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. crab meat, drained and flaked

Instructions

  1. Combine chili sauce, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, lemon juice and chives.
  2. Taste; adjust seasonings, paying special attention to the horseradish and lemon, because these vary in intensity.
  3. Set the cream cheese on a serving platter.
  4. Mound the crab on top.
  5. Pour the sauce over.
  6. Serve with French bread, crackers, or Melba toast.
