Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. sour milk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. chopped apples
  • 2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix and put in greased bread pan. Sprinkle top of mixture with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
  2. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
