Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 29 oz. can fruit of your choosing (I prefer peaches)

Instructions

  1. In 1 1/2-quart baking dish (Corning Ware), melt butter.
  2. Mix milk, sugar and flour together.
  3. Pour on top of butter.
  4. Do not stir.
  5. Drain fruit good, then pour fruit in center.
  6. Bake at 350° until top is golden brown and center is done.
  7. Center will be a little moist if fruit has not been drained good, but that is okay. This is delicious!
