Double Berry Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. fresh blueberries, washed and crushed
  • 1 qt. fresh red raspberries, washed and crushed
  • 7 c. sugar
  • 1/2 (6 oz.) bottle liquid fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Measure 4 cups of fruit (fill last cup with water if necessary) into a large saucepan; add sugar.
  2. Heat to a full rolling boil.
  3. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in pectin; skim.
  6. Pour into 8 hot scalded 1/2-pint jars.
  7. Seal at once.
