Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast with a pinch of sugar in about 1/2 cup water.
- Set aside in a warm place about 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, sift the flour and salt into a large warmed bowl.
- Make a well in the center and add the oil and yeast mixture.
- Work the dough vigorously, adding the remaining lukewarm water to make a soft dough.
- Cover with a damp cloth and set aside in a warm draft. Put a little oil in the bottom of the bowl to keep the dough surface dry.
