Ingredients

  • 14 to 16 dove
  • flour
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onion
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • sherry
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season dove with salt and pepper, roll in flour.
  2. Place in oil in a
  3. heavy
  4. roaster.
  5. Bake
  6. at
  7. 400° until brown. Add onions, water and 1 cup of sherry. Bake covered until tender, basting with sherry
  8. occasionally. Add
  9. parsley to gravy just before serving.
