- Cream shortening and sugar together.
- Add eggs and beat until creamy.
- Sift flour and baking powder together and add alternately with milk and vanilla.
- Beat
- until smooth.
- Bake in tube pan for an hour.
- Test for doneness.
- Bake at 350°.
- Top with powdered sugar.
