Easy Bechamel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the margarine over medium heat.
  2. Once the margarine has melted, add in the flour; mix until all lumps disappear.
  3. Follow up by adding the water, a little bit at a time, and continuously stir.
  4. Add in the garlic salt, basil, and parsley. Mix it all together.
  5. Remove it from the stove and add the sauce over pasta, meat, fish, vegetables, etc...
