Ingredients

  • 5 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (18 1/4 oz.) package chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the miniature marshmallows in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake batter according to package directions.
  3. Pour the batter over the marshmallows in the baking pan.
  4. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cake batter.
