A quick and easy layered dessert with fruity pineapple, cherry pie filling, and buttery cake topping, perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks oleo or margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a 9 x 13-inch glass pan, spread the crushed pineapple evenly on the bottom.
  3. Spread cherry pie filling over the crushed pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry filling.
  5. Slice margarine or oleo over the top of the dry cake mix.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
