"Easy" Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon bits
  • 1 pkg. cream of chicken Cup-a-Soup
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place beans, 1/4 cup water and bacon bits in saucepan.
  2. Mix soup mix in cup of hot water; add to beans.
  3. Bring to boil. Dissolve cornstarch in 3 tablespoons of cold water; add to beans. Cook about 2 minutes more.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes at 350°.
