Ingredients

  • 40 small cucumbers
  • 6 heads of dill or 3 (2-inch) pieces of dill stalk
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 6 onions sliced thick
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp alum
  • 1 scant cup salt
  • 2 qt. water

Instructions

  1. Scald 6 quart jars.
