Easy Summer Green Beans

- Bring water, salt, pepper, and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add green beans; cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook 10 minutes or to desired degree of doneness. Drain beans, and drizzle with 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil and 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice. Add more olive oil and lemon juice, if desired.
