Easy Venison Roast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 (3 to 4 lb.) venison roast
  • salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon pepper marinade
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, quartered

Instructions

  1. Combine vinegar and 2 quarts water.
  2. Add roast.
  3. Soak overnight.
  4. Rinse well.
  5. Soak in salted water for 2 hours.
  6. Rinse. Combine 1 teaspoon salt, lemon pepper marinade, oregano and seasoned salt.
  7. Rub on roast.
  8. Cover with garlic and onion.
  9. Place in a slow cooker.
  10. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup water.
  11. Cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours.
