Ingredients

  • 12 slices bread
  • 1 lb. boiled ham
  • 4 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Remove crust from bread and quarter.
  2. Put 6 slices in buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Layer diced ham over bread, then layer shredded cheese over ham.
  4. Put the other 6 slices of bread over layers. Mix milk, eggs, salt and mustard together. Pour over layers. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Bake at 375° for one hour.
