Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 15 oz. can chili with beans
  • 3 slices cheese, halved diagonally
  • 6 to 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted (if desired)

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in large skillet until browned, then drain off fat. Stir in chili and heat thoroughly.
  2. Arrange cheese slices on meat mixture.
  3. Cover and heat 1 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Serves 6 to 8.
  4. Makes great open-faced sandwiches.
