Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 4 cups cold water
  • food coloring of various colors

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk 1/2 cup cornstarch into 4 cups cold water until smooth.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes translucent.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Divide the cooled mixture into separate jars or containers.
  5. Add a few drops of food coloring into each jar to create different colors, stirring until evenly tinted.
  6. Store the finished paint in baby food jars or small containers for easy access during art sessions.
