Foolproof Baking Powder Biscuits

- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Stir in milk; knead lightly.
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Turn dough onto lightly floured surface.
- With hands, pat to 1/2-inch thick rectangle or roll with lightly floured rolling pin.
- Cut into 16 squares.
- Place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes, or until browned.
