Ingredients

  • 2 c. raw peanuts
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan, except vanilla.
  2. Cook until crystallized, noting that crystallization will form suddenly.
  3. Remove immediately from heat and add vanilla.
  4. Pour into a buttered cookie sheet and sprinkle lightly with salt.
  5. Bake at 300°F for about 15 to 20 minutes.
