Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • rind of 2 oranges
  • 1 c. mint leaves, crushed
  • juice of 2 oranges
  • juice of 6 lemons

Instructions

  1. Bring sugar and 5 cups water to a boil in saucepan.
  2. Stir to dissolve sugar.
  3. Add orange rind and mint leaves.
  4. Let stand, covered, for 2 hours.
  5. Strain.
  6. Add fruit juices and food coloring.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Add ginger ale.
  9. Pour over crushed ice.
