Fried Dough Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Thaw frozen bread in refrigerator overnight and at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Pinch off pieces of dough; stretch and drop in hot oil.
  3. Fry on each side until golden brown.
  4. (Oil hands before stretching bread for easier handling.)
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or eat plain.
