Ingredients

  • 1 yeast cake
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • dried apricots or apples
  • small amount honey

Instructions

  1. Soak fruit overnight; boil until tender.
  2. Chop and sweeten with honey.
