"Fryd" Green T'Mators

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 hard green mators
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pinch of garlic
  • 1 (12 oz.) can beer (your favorite)

Instructions

  1. Wash your t-mators and slice them good-n-thin, about 1/8-inch thick.
  2. Now get you a good, big bowl and add flour, salt, pepper and garlic; stir it up.
  3. Now start adding your brew until it gets nice and thick, sort of like good gravy!
  4. Put cooking oil in a large skillet and get it good and hot.
  5. Dip your mators in batter. Put them in skillet and fry them golden brown.
  6. Lay them on a paper towel and sprinkle with seasoned salt.
  7. Eat them while they're hot.
