Gator Taco

Ingredients

  • 2 c. presoaked ground gator
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup
  • 1 tsp. cumin spice
  • 1 tsp. taco seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. In hot skillet, use 1 tablespoon of oil.
  2. Add remaining tablespoon of oil to 2 cups of gator meat; work into meat well before placing in skillet.
  3. When meat has cooked thoroughly, add onion soup mix and cumin; also add taco seasoning.
  4. Cook until flavors have mingled together.
  5. Taste to adjust salt and black pepper.
  6. Use in prepared taco shells with cheese, lettuce, onion, tomatoes or sour cream, salsa, cocktail sauce, etc.
