Ingredients

  • 3 ripe haas avocados
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon jalapeno powder
  • 1 1/2 hothouse tomatoes, peeled, seeded, chopped
  • 3 -4 scallions, chopped
  • chopped cilantro, to taste

Instructions

  1. Put the avacados into a bowl with the lemon juice (strained), and the seasonings. Mash to a rather fine consistency with a few chunks remaining.
  2. Stir in the tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Sit 30 minutes before serving.
