Ginger Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Beat together all ingredients.
  2. Simmer over low heat for 5 or 10 minutes.
  3. While glaze is still warm, brush it over meat only during the last 15 minutes of cooking, to prevent the sugar in the glaze from burning.
